Gastronomy Concepts with Purpose: The Jury Phase Has Begun

The application phase for the GREEN MONARCH Award 2026 is now closed. The jury is taking over: all submitted applications in the Gastronomy category will be reviewed, evaluated and considered for the final shortlist.

On 1 August 2026, the shortlists in all four categories will be announced. On the same day, the online public voting will begin. From that moment on, the public will also have a say in which concepts stand out most.

Last year, we honoured restaurant concepts that brought together sustainability, quality and a strong guest experience in a credible way.

  • Winner 2025: Klüh Catering GmbH
  • Finalists 2025: Buchnas Landhotel Saarschleife (Dorfküche), Restaurant Silberstreif (Ritter von Kempski Privathotels GmbH)

This category focuses on gastronomy businesses that do not treat responsibility as an add-on, but as part of their concept. We are looking for restaurants, caterers, canteens and other food service businesses that show, through a clear attitude, thoughtful ideas and real innovative strength, what future-ready gastronomy can look like.
