Hotels Shaping the Future: The Jury Selects the Shortlist
The application phase for the GREEN MONARCH Award 2026 is now closed. The next important stage has begun: the jury is reviewing all submitted applications in the Hotel category and selecting the final shortlist.
On 1 August 2026, the shortlists in all four categories will be announced. On the same day, the online public voting will begin. From then on, each nominated hotel will have the chance to show its impact, attitude and story to a wider audience. Last year, the focus was on hotels that embedded sustainability strategically, implemented it credibly and connected it with a strong guest experience.

- Finalists: Nature & Active Hotel Rogen, Urban Nature Hotel St. Peter-Ording
This category is for hotels that show sustainable transformation is more than a green promise. It is about properties that take responsibility, change processes, involve their teams and create a conscious, high-quality experience for their guests.
